    I want a set of wheels for my mk4 Golf GT TDi, which wheels should i get the old or new style r32 wheels?

    Personally i'd go for the new style.

    Either way, they're going to take you ages to clean.

    i've just put the old style on my black 5dr gt tdi and they look mint 225/40/18 i've had loads of compliments on them, my opinion is leave new style for mk5s stick to old style mk4s

    Just bought myself a set of the new style wheels in 18 inch. cant wait 2 get them. Ive got a jazz blue golf, what colour shall i paint the brakes? blue or red?

    paint them any colour that contrasts the car, so not blue. Go for red, yellow or orange.

    It is a cardinal sin to fit bigger wheels without first lowering ones car.

    To quote, the 1st commandment reads;

    "Thou shalt not fit or attempt to fit larger or wider wheels to ones car unlest one lowers thy car first. Otherwise thy car will assume the looke of a 4x4 and will look silly".

    Looks like i'll b breaking that commandment then. lol My car will only look like a 4x4 until i get paid again in 4 weeks. how high would the car look without it being lowered? ne got ne pics?
