  1. Question Why a difference in information provided by Autotrader vs. Parker's Cars??

Can anyone tell me why there is a difference in the information provided about the same model of car from Autotrader and Parkers, and which one is accurate?

    Take for instance a 2010 BMW 335D M Sport 4dr Auto.

Links to the information on the two websites:

    http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...port?logcode=p

    http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/review...on-2005/41356/

The technical information about the car (power, torque, 0-60, MPG, tax band etc) differs between the two sites. Why? And which one is accurate?

    Any thoughts appreciated.

    Cheers.

power is only different by 5, could be a typo but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

    torque is the same

0-60 vs 0-62, different measurements hence different values
MPG isn't on the parkers link
tax will be based on emissions, which will be dictated by manufacturer supplied information

if you want definitive figures, the best bet is to give your local BMW dealer a ring and supply them with the reg plate.

I have noticed with quite a few cars listed on AutoTrader that when you check their Road Fund license cost with the DVLA it is quite often incorrect. That as in this case maybe down to user error as I assume when you advertise your car it asks you a few questions regarding the car.

    It's a Mercedes Benzzzz though
