Fault codes P2008 and P2011

Mine (05 3.0 TDI A6) has this P2011 error for over a year now with no symptoms beyond the dash warning. It's an 11 year old car with 300,000km on it (and practically unsellable in Ireland because of that and the ridiculous motor tax rate of €1494 a year) so I'm not about to spend thousands on it, but what's the consequences of doing nothing here?





Thar €650 kit from eBay sounds more palatable if I was to do anything about it though... have you a link by any chance?

I don't think you would notice any difference, but my thoughts are that unless you run a diagnostic on a frequent basis, if another fault occurred with the car which would have turned the warning lamp on you would not have been warned as the lamp was already on. The manifolds I bought were like eBay item number: 321315908965

In France where I live there is no car tax and cars do not seem to devalue so fast

SRT88 is a sponsored dealer here for aftermarket manifolds. Changed the driver's side (LHD) about a year and a half ago and have no issues at all.

I've had the same faults for the last yr or so
Not noticed any loss in power/mpg etc
Car drove fine
Managed to switch the actuator rod last week in about 30mins and light is now gone .....
1 week, let's see how long it lasts- no difference in power/ mpg again
But for the £11 and 30 mins fiddling its worth it just to get rid if the annoying light in dash
