Look forward to hearing how you get on. Awesome not too far from me at all and I've heard great things. They reckon they could get my hp up from 170 to 190, and give it 20 more torques using a custom remap. Still pondering whether to actually do it or not. It's already quick, but would like it a bit smoother!
    Cheers

    Hi,
I was going to get a standard re-map and then bit the bullet and purchased a Viezu V-Switch, which allows me to use 3 different maps
i.e. Performance, Economy and the Original map.
I can change the map using the V-Switch, which plugs into the cars VAG diagnostic port and it takes about 10 minutes.
The performance map is great, so much so, put your foot down and she takes of like a scolded cat and will wheel-spin in third!
But I find it too aggresive for slippery winter roads, so I am currently using the Economy map, which I might add, really does seem to save a fair bit of fuel, but still allows for more power and responsiveness than the Original map.

I can honestly say I am glad I spent the extra money. It just makes the car so more flexible and I can put the original map back on when it goes in for servicing etc.
Another benefit is if I change the car I can stump-up about £100 and they will produce new maps for the new car..
    Cheers

    Hi Big G star,
I you asking me sanstorm999 about the V-Switch mapping device?
I paid £399 for the device direct from viezu http://www.viezu.com/product-range/vswitch-video-page
To add to my original post above. I have not had the car rolling road tested, but my wife has just taken delivery of 59 plate BMW 320d which has 184bhp as standard and she agrees the BMW is no match for the Audi with the performance map running!
    cheers
