    hi all i have a audi a4 2.0l turbo petrol estate i keep having the brake warning light come on in the morn in the centre info display ,ive had it plugged in at the garage and its comming up with,18265 load signal error message from ecu p1857 intermitent any ideas thanks

    could be a sign of a dying battery, get it checked

    a low voltage spike on first start of the day is known to produce the RED brake warning and beeps..
    What colour brake warning do you get, AMBER or RED
    A4 2.5 tdi QS (mapped)

    its red and yes it bleeps but it also happens when you can be driving along

    Move the brake fluid reservoir level lead away from the battery lead and put a bit of foam pipe insulation round it.

    Did that and keep the battery charged or buy a new one
