    Hi All

I've been lurking on here for quite awhile now picking up as much info as poss, so i dont have to bother people with "daft" question's, Anyway i cant seem to be able to remove the "boot" side trim from my 2002 a6 avant, i attempted one side but landed up breaking the top plastic bit as all the pic's/ info i could find never mentioned anything about fixing's there,, So before i try the other side can anyone help please??.

    Thanks

If you mean the plastic cover on the boot lid, there are 2 star screws, on in the inside handle area and one in where the warning triangle is kept, remove these and then with a large screwdriver, or less sharp object, lever the plastic off the boot, they come off with a pop, and it is hard to see but try and lever where the poppers are held in place, start around the lower edge of the boot and it helps to see the back ones,

    regards

    Andy
