Lock it with remote fob, then unlock it with manual key.If it makes a loud noise it's got an alarm .

The button at bottom of 'B' post is for turning interior ultrasonic sensors off when setting alarm (locking it basically).

the button may have 2 settings, one is to turn off the ultra sonic sensors if you were leaving a child or animal in the car, their movement won't trigger the alarm, and the other setting you would use to turn off the anti tow alarm, basically if the car is lifted at the front or rear the alarm will go off, this is also to be used on a ferry should there be enough swell it could also fool the car in to thinking it is being lifted.

There have been a couple of post about this button.
