hey people im new to the vag scene always been jap but decidedto ditch v-tec for a derv i recently purchased a blue vw bora with a pd 150 conversion rota grid drifts coilovers leather etc really nice car to drive just wonderd if any of use reconise the car by description i swapped my civic for the bora thinking it was fine drove it home and now i get nothing but limp mode it has had a remap 213bhp 376 ftlb allard intercoller , hard pipe kit, de-cat and a gay airfilter but does sound cool lol i read into it a bit and found out that the vnt turbos do play up i tryed the wiggle trick but no joy i plumbed in a boost gauge and its is over boosting to 2.4 bar when i get to around 70-80 mph 2-2.5k revs it goes into limp mode but as soon as i turn it off and on its fine till i reach the same speed i can carry on resetin it to 130 mph which indicated to me the turbo is fine because its pulling round the rev range but it doesnt want to rev att all after 2,5 k it feels dead if you have any suggestions it would be much appriciated i will upload some pics later it does look good and nice to drive but i need to get this problem sorted i may need someone with vagcom to plug it in or have the turbo rebuilt which luckly enough a good friend of mine works for essex turbos and said he will take mine off rebuild it and fit it for 250 which i thought was good cheers josh

Have heard this a lot cos the f/wheel cant handle the power.Dont know if a single is the answer and hope others will advise. My son had an S3 remapped and that needed a new f/wheel at 70k.He sold that and went to an Audi A4 2.5Tdi Quattro which I now have cos he was bored and he now has anotherS3 which he has had remapped so will see what happens this time.Sure is quick.Hope you get sorted
