how to fix heater?

I have an A4 19tdi 52 plate. The passenger side dosnt blow out heat, i have twin side climate control.
It did start working for about a week the went back to cold air. How can i solve the my self and cheep?

It sounds like a flap motor issue but this would need confirming with a fault code scan. This will probably show a problem with the V158 motor, part number 8E2 820 511 E and these cost £99.18 from Audi, they do not appear to be available aftermarket. These are quite easy to access (and yellow for ID) after removing the glovebox but a new unit should be set up using a diagnostic computer in basic settings.

Cheers. I just got your reply, i took the glove box out found what motot it is by elimination, striped it down, cleaned it and its contacts up. Now all works fine.
