    Hi All

    New member hire, previously owned Vreg Celica for 4 very happy years but now is time for some family wheels

    Collected today my 58 plate Golf and must say LOVE IT
    As a new owner and member I have question.
    How I can check which engine is fitted in my Golf, PD or CR with DPF or not ?
    Engine no CBD 011221

    think you are a letter short on the engine code CBDB is a common rail fitted with DPF

    service book shows Engine Code CBD hmm...

    but there is no such engine code as CBD
