finger print reader problems

does anyone anyone know of any problems with the finger print reader on audi a8.
mine does not seem to be working.

When you say not working, do you mean it doesn't start the car, or that it doesn't recognise you and set your preferred radio stations etc.?

Hi the problem is when you press the finger print button nothing happens. It seems to do is start the vehicle. Can you help?

Have you set it up to learn your fingerprints so that it can log you on?

When you've set it up, it will recognise you and set everything to your preferences, for seat position, radio & TV station favourites, mirror position, steering wheel position etc.

If you're the only person to use the car then you won't actually notice all this, it will stay the way it was when you left the car
