1.9 tdi 130 engine shaking / rocking when warm!?!

hi, just purchased an a4 1.9tdi, all fine when idling when cold,
but when car is warm, engine seems to rock from side to side
causing car to shake?!? car runs fine, no missing etc,
any ideas??

i had this problem, it has just been fixed today with a new cambelt kit fitted.

Mine isnt even due yet....what would make it shake like that?

the timing being off if the belt has stretched slightly.
unless i saw the cambelt kit being fitted i wouldnt truely beleive it had been changed before, i certainly wouldnt take any notice of just a stamp in a service book (im not saying that is what you have done ).
i had my cambelt changed today and got the service book stamped but i also took pictures of the new parts and the whole front end of the car dismantled as proof of it being done for the next owner, if i ever sell it.

Firstly get the car scanned for faults if any,could be something simple as a temp sensor or more drastic as the dmflywheel.

hi, had fault reader on car, 17994, something to do
with engine mounting?? any ideas?

I had mine scanned today, no faults.....i did hear it could be a timing issue though, as you said the belt slightly streched, my misses has had her belt done today though which had the same issue.....still shaking.....

then i would change fuel filter, injection harness and injectors.

Hi. 17994/P1586/005510 - Engine Mount Solenoid Valves (N144/N145): Short to Plus. Looks like engine mounts don't work the way they should be, guess that might cause the engine shake. Engine mounts are electronically controlled and compensate engine movements/vibrations like hydrolic shock absorbers
