Will the 2000 face lift rear lights fit on 96 (saloon) ?
Are the plugs or wiring different ?

The orange rear indicators just don't go with a black car.

aaagh dont cut them the wires come out of the plugs pull out the retaining clip and there is a little metal clip in the plug which is part of the connecter lift it up with a needle or similar and swap them over you can trace the wires on the bulb holder buy seein which one you want to light up but >96 bulb holder are different they have a separate side light you need bulb holders 98 on but they are cheap even from dealers
    cheers
