I've got RNSE in my B7 and I've decided i now want to add TV to my system. I believe i need the correct tuner and aerial? does anyone know where to start?

Has anyone had this retrofitted or had it as an extras when they purchased the car? is it any good?

    Cheers in advance

I tried it in mine and its crap IMHO. The picture quality is low as the RNSE has a low screen resolution, so it'll never be like watching TV/DVD's at home.

Reception quality on the move was very poor and not much better when stationary. It was a mountain of hassle and I wish I hadnt bothered at all and I soon got rid of the TV and the DVD player.

I would definately attempt to try it before you buy it. Its a nice gimmick I suppose but realistically - How often are you going to use it? I prefer to be in my house watching TV!

    Agree

I would just add bt and dension 100 ipod but remember the iphone can not be used at the same time.

So mount your ipod onto the dension and leave it plugged in and use the iphone as a phone connected via bluetooth to the oem phone prep

both will function via mfsw and the dension displays your music id tags over the dis display

clean install without the cumbersome wiring mess of adding dvd players and multi media adapters
vag diagnostics, retrofits and general repairs

don't bother with tv. Worthless really, even when stationary. Get a dvd player, or usb stick plug in and watch recordings.
