Opinions Please

I always tell my Kids that the only Opinion that truely counts is your own. Never worry about what other people think!!!

Well................I'm about to go against my own great advice and ask all your opinions.

I am just about to take my Votex Rear bumper to get painted, I have seen a few pictures of cars with the little parts that surround the exhaust outlets painted in Gloss Black. I'm in 2 minds as to whether to have it all Body Coloured or go for the Gloss Black exhaust trims. I've attached pictures to help explain what i mean.

My car is Atlas Grey (I think thats what its called) so the pictures are not a great representation of what it will look like on my car unfortunately.

In my opinion, taking into account the colour of your car, I'd keep them body coloured. Dark / Gloss Black is great when contrasted against a bold colour - i.e Blue, Red, White etc. I think for your particular colour it'd look a bit "cheap" if that's the right word to decribe it.

Exactly what i was thinking but just needed someone else to say it too.

What does everyone else think? are Bodgemeister & Myself right? or does anyone have any opinions (or pictures) of an Atlas grey with Black?

Or another thought was not to go Black but the Grey colour that Audi use on the "Non-Colour coded" sections of their cars.

I think you and bodgemeister are correct to be honest. That white a4 above looks proper lush though, something about white cars..

I'm very jealous of that car. It is exactly what i want. i don't think you cant get it in white here unless you paint it, as i've never seen a white B6 for sale nor on the road!!

Well, Decission made. I have asked the guy to do it all Body Colour and not the Black inserts.

I will update with pics when i sort my camera out
