The first MOT is due on our Audi in April.

I've just measured the fronts and they are down to the wear bars - ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

Anyway after some advice of anyone who has had some fitted recently

At the moment I have Pirelli P zero rosso's on.

Been advised to try these VREDESTEIN ULTRAC SESSANTA - 235/35R19 91Y XL TL

    Any help much appreciated!

I had Pirelli which ran to 21k miles. Have now changed to Mich sport 3's They cost a bunch bit are much quieter and I reckon will last far longer 8k miles covered so far with little sign of wear

lol. I wonder how many times the question of tyres will come up on this forum :P.

You will get lots of replies I would imagine without a real answer to this question. A lot of people here seem to like Dunlops and Contis, both awesome tyres. I've got pirellis on which were factory shipped...but I've always found pirellis wear far too quickly..so won't be bothering with them again.
Just whatever you do...avoid budget ditch-guiders.

Swapped all four corners about 5 months ago. Kept with Dunlop Sport Maxx GTs as I got 30k out the originals. Never had any issue with grip or noise so couldn't see any reason to change!

I was reading the current Audi Uk mag in WH Smiths yesterday and came accross an article about Hankook Ventus S1's

Apparently they did really well in an 'Evo' magazine test

    Anyone and experience of them?

For me it's Michelin PS3s all the way... or if you are feeling very flush 'super sports' .... They are just awesome tyres for grip and handling. I personally hate Dunlops with a passion... I had a set of nearly new Dunlops on my old B7 when I bought it and binned them almost straight away ... the car came to life once they were off and the PS3s were on instead.

I have had a pair on for a few months of the rear and fine. Now swapped to the front and they are qieter than the Dunnys and the car turns in a lot sharper.

Will be putting another pair on in the next week or so.

    Recomneded

    TOY - 2001 Westfield 2.1 SEW,172bhp SOLD TO MY BROTHER, I needed a PANERAI.
HERS - 'R' New 7spd DSG and 310 rampant ones. 4.2 off the mark will do nicely

Went for some Conti Sport Contact 3's in the end - £215 / tyre fitted.

The old P zero's were tramlining really bad in the end.
