Just wondering what the power split is between front and rear on the Audi Quattro system.

I assumed a 60/40 split is this correct?????

I thought the B6 was 50:50 with the potential to change to 25:75 (front or back - depending on conditions)

I'd heard it was 80% to the front, 20% to the back in dry, straight-line driving.

Apparently there's a maximim % of power that can be put through the rear wheels on the version of Quattro fitted to the B6 range. I'm not sure what that maximum is (perhaps 75% as suggested above) but it has been increased on the latest A4's.

Its a torsen permenant 4wd system so its 50:50 all the time, not like the a3/tt with haldex which is more a 2wd with the ability to be up to 80% rear 20% front, or something like that?!

I didnt think the a4 could shift its torque split, well not on a b6 anyhow.
