A4 1.8T Suspension still clunking.

Any advise please, i have replaced all arms, top and bottom, new steering rack fitted last year, new track rod end to passenger side and still i can detect a slight clunk through the steering wheel. Its more noticable when i drive out of my driveway and off the small kerb, its not really noticable once on the move.I bought some new(febi) anti roll bar links but have not fitted them yet because i cant undo the bolts,everything is rubber mounted. any ideas as to what is still clunking. Its a 1996 1.8T.

Hello i have the same problem in my a4 tdi,i also have replaced all arms and track rod ends but still have a light clunk through steering wheel ,if i swivel steering wheel quickly left and right i can hear clunk ,think it might be rack

any luck with yours yet?

Had the same issue recently with a Porsche 944....turned out to be a half dead shocker. The problem was not detectable by pushing the corners etc. However if you get a mate to push while you get your hand on the strut body you might be able to identify it.
