Noise when turning

Hi All, Over the past 2 months i hear a noise when i turn the steering wheel, please help. thanks

Hi Mate, IT`s a whining noise, I put some tt alloys on last year would it be to do with that ?

Is the whining noise when you're driving along or also when stationary? If so, it could be the wheels rubbing on the arches. Are there any rubbed patches on the tyres or the inner wheel arches?
Is the whining noise all the time that you're turning the wheel, or only when you get to full lock? only on full lock means it could the the steering pump or the alternator pulley clutch.
Where is the noise coming from? The wheels, the engine bay or the steering wheel itself?

The more information you provide about the noise, the more help you're likely to get from people who have had similar problems.

Oh, and has it made the noise since you put the TT alloys on, or only just started? What size are the wheels and tyres? What offset have they got compared to your original wheels?
