VW centre caps?

What size are the VW centre caps, that fits on the wheels? The wheels I have is the Monte Carlo ones 17'. All 4 caps are badly damaged. VW are charging me £7.99 each!

There are quite alot going on eBay but don't know the size.

How are they damaged? Gone white where the "chrome" seems to have disappeared?

If so, it's a common fault and you might be able to get freebie replacement like I did.

Ah ha.... Mines out of warranty. Will have to buy a set from eBay, as it is cheaper than VW!

Won't do any harm to speak to your dealer and ask. They are such a common problem that they keep them in stock and since you have the 5 year (or is it 7?) anti-corrosion warranty, maybe the centre caps are included in the spirit if not the letter of the guarrantee.

Give customer service a shout as well if your dealer refuses, that and try a few dealers in the area, you might get lucky. Phone up a few times, hopefully speak to a different person in the hope they sort you out? Anything is worth a go.
