Manual cable. Auto cable for morons who never look under the hood and open to all kinds of failure issues. Adjust the manual cable periodically as the new cable stretches and you've done as good as you can with it.

Yea deffo go manual adjust cable, even if the old one was an auto adjust and it breaks just chuck a manual adjust in because you can retro fit them......plus the auto adjust is made by the french....enough said!

I'm a total newbie to the whole repairing cars game and it only took me 30 mins to change the clutch cable so enough time to do it after work then go down the pub for a pint

Once removed the Auto adjuster is good for throwing at defaecating cats. Little else though. Useless thing as a clutch cable. Pity I haven't found a manual one for my GTD.
