i own a a4 1.8turbo and i want to get a remap done on my car but cheapest found so far is £350.00 is this about right?? can anyone here do it?? and what exactly does remap do?? does it store pressure in turbo for longer to give it a bigger kick as such?? Ive just fitted de-cat last night so will that effect remap and what is a good guess of total bhp after decat and ecu remap?? started at 150bhp what will i finish at....... thanks for any help

my mate is running just over 200 and has been for years these engine are really good and i would have no worrys at all with 200 and its a great drive at that i would not go much more front wheel drive as it just spins the front wheels in the rain if you drive vigourouslyhope this helps
