    Hi,
Am looking at 57 plate golf tdi 2.0 and am wondering if this has a dpf as 1.9s seem to be advertised as DPF whereas the 2.0s do not? Also presume the 2.0tdi golf suffers all same issues with injectors, oil pumps etc as the passat as the same engines?
What specific issues does this model suffer from-anything also specific to estate?

I think that you will find tha 2.0l tdi engine in the golf is a BKD and it does not suffer the same issues as the passat/A4 BLB issues. The BKD lump has the same oil pump sysyem as the 1.9tdi.

The BKD engine in the Golf 5, Golf 5, Audi A3, Skoda Octavia, etc. is probably the most reliable PD 2.0tdi engine, as it closely resembles the 1.9tdis. It doesn't have a DPF. Note that BKD is the 140bhp engine. The 170bhp engine is different and is prone to the same problems as the Passat, Audi A4, etc. 2.0tdi PD engines.
