Hi, does anyone know about any leaks that can develop in the boot area of a saloon. I've taken my spare wheel out and noticed a small amount of water flowing around in the wheel well, drying it up and the water reappears the following day. A check of the area and it seems to be coming from the seam on the back of the wheel well nearest the bumper, but the whole seam is damp, so I'm wondering if its flowing in from somewhere and following the seam?

Have a look up near the Hinges. A lot of leaves and other rubbish collect around this area blocking the normal water run-off route

not sure how much help it'll be but my money would be on light seals.

years ago I had a Toyota Celica with a wet boot....around 2inches of water in the wheel well. Turns out water ran down the side of the boot, into the rear light units and once they filled up, overflowed into the boot.
Once I had traced it, I replaced the seals and everything dried up.
