New member on the boards and a very new A4 driver! I just took delivery of an 07 A4 Cab without a bluetooth prep, having come from an A3 with it I realise quite how much I miss it and want to sort it as soon as possible and have decided that I want to use the CK3000 + multican as its as close to the factory fit as possible.

I have googled a lot and searched these boards but I can't find anyone with experience of fitting this in a cabrio. I'm tech savy and am not scared of dismantling things having just fitted a dension (I have a concert II radio) gateway with absolutely no drama.

My questions are - is there a better option than the parrot gear, should I fit it myself (the best quote I've had for supply and fit is £250, the hardware is £115, that seems a lot of money to fit it!) and if I do where on earth should I put the mic - seeing that as soon as the roof comes down the wind noise near the mirror will be terrible but even if I do fit it near the mirror, does anyone have instructions for removing trim etc for the cab, as all the ones that I have seen online have been for the non cab, and there are some differences!!

All help and advice is appreciated!

I cant help but I want to do exactly the same on my 06 cab, im fed up of those inactive buttons on the steering wheel. From my research the main problem I will encounter seems to be fitting the mic. I think the rest is not too bad. I have had the glove compartment out easily enough before when i removed the trim to carbon wrap it.
