    All,

    06 Touran TDI 6speed 100. 49k on clock.
Getting a rumble, bearing type noise at speeds over 35mph or so. More noticeable on smoother roads and noise seems to be slightly louder when braking. Noise doesn't change when steering in either direction.

Mechanic checked all wheels for bearings (no play or noise apparent).

Could just be tyre noise? Not sure...really annoying.

    Any thoughts welcome...

    Andrew
