I was just wondering if anyone knows wether the wiring for the computer was put onto all vehicles. i have a 96 n reg tdi se 90 that doesn't have an on board computer. I know some vag group models had the wiring for various things fitted but the switches were not when cars were ordered. I know this as my other half has a 95 golf gti that I put front fogs into. The wiring was already there.
On my audi i was hoping that i would have to cahnge was the wiper stalk for one with computer controls and plug it in.???
Anyone who knows about this or indeed has done this would be most helpful.
    Cheers

Looking at the wiring diagram, it seems it would mostly be missing as it isn't part of the basic equipment diagram.
