Hi guys, really really ****** off with my new a4 i bought recently.

basically had a MINOR front end damage, just damaged grill and rad.

anyway i got the car running, and all put together, then realised that the car keeps locking itself.

so the next day came to the garage, wanted to move the car,sat in.........bloody battery was flat.

so jump started it,ran it for about 10 mins, switched it off, went to start it again and started so battery was good.

the problem is,and which is causing the battery to die out is that the car keep s locking itself, even when i lock the car, every 2-5 mins the car locks it self.

    i have done the following-

checked the Central Locking Module underneathe passenger side footwell for dampness etc,all seems fine.

WHAT THE HELL CAN IT BE,trust me its driving me crazy.

    please please someone help me.

You'll need to find someone with VCDS to do the scan for you.

Have a look in this section of the forum and see if you can find a local member willing to help.

hi Shaz, get someone to do a battery test, this means someone with the right equip will short the battery and see if any cells have gone down, there are plenty of posts on here giving locking faults to batteries that have dead cells
