    Well
I took the plunge and bought a A4 B8 58 plate T/D which was lovely.
Reading about the lovely multitronic I insisted on an oil change as part of the deal even though not due yet as only done 22K.(ay audi main dealer)
I didnt notice on road tests before but when selecting reverse and indeed coming out of reverse it jolts, all other forward gears are fine at all speeds just not sure about the reverse.
Is this normal or is it likely to be a fault with the 7 plate clutch or maybe incorrect oil level after the oil change??

    Any ideas guys and gals??

Hi and congrats on the new car.

Mine just jolt at times and more so when the wife is driving.
She tends to almost try and engage a gear as the car stops rather than giving I a nano second more to settle as you really need to with most auto's.

The milk is a great box but you do have to learn it.
You have to be so light on the throttle and get out of the manual mentality of pressing it all the way down as you pull away.
Remember the road speed catches up withthe revs so when you are driving normally no need to press the loud peddle 'much', may be 1600 rph is all you need.

Difficult to explain but when mastered the car is so relaxing and the mpg improves massively, 50+ with A road driving.

    Enjoy
