    Default Upgrading MMI 2G – 04-09-2011,10:25 PM
    Hi

    Someone has offered 3 disks to upgrade my MMI 2G version 5140 to the following

    Next 5150 and latest is 5570.
    Cd1 update to 5150
    Cd2 Bluetooth update
    Cd3 update to 5570

    So does this mean then I can pair a mobile with the vehicle without having to spend 100s on a hands free unit

    Is the upgrade worth it and any good

    The update doesn't actually give you Bluetooth. Its just new software for the Bluetooth unit.

    I had my MMI upgraded to 5570 by Audi as I was experiencing freezing and also Bluetooth issues. It just really fixes any bugs and patches them with new software.

    When te upgrade is finished you may notice you have lost some MMI menus such as trip computer but it can easily be turned on with vcds again.
