Hi everyone I have a 1994 Audi 80 1.9 tdi and it won't start it just happened overnight I parked up at night and in the Morning it turns over but won't fire so I thought fuel is the issue I took the inlet off at the fuel filter and turned it over and no fuel coming so I went to the boot and took the plug off the in tank pump and when I turn on the ignition I'm only getting 5 volts between the 2 terminals feeding the in tank pump is this correct or should it be 12v? Any ideas would be appreciated

As far as I know there is no pump in the tank on this model.
You could see if you have power at the fuel pump solenoid.
If you have power at solenoid, then maybe have a look and see if timing belt is ok.
You will find it difficult to get air out of the system after taking the inlet pipe off, but we can help out if needed.
