Squeaking noise from Driver Side rear wheel

Hi all,

Few questions I hope to get some advice from you guys.

1. My car is due for the next service - at 80+K servicing. Gave a call to P. Breading at Southend and got a quote of £210 for oil change, oil filter, pollen filter change and an engine flush. What do you guys think of this price? Is it expensive or do you think I can get it cheaper elsewhere? It seems like P Breading comes quite highly recommended in this forum.

2. I just started to have a squeaking noise at my driver side rear wheel. It comes on and off intermittenly - when on the move or during braking. Any idea what could have gone wrong there?

Are you not due a Cam Belt change at £80K. Regards Peter

Hi Peter,

Spoke to the workshop, apparently mine is a 3.0TDI which doesn't have a cambelt but a chain.

However I saw on the service book at a change which is why i'm also a little confused.
