Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the wiper stalk, I'm interested in the wiring to the two buttons on the stalk that are used to cycle the centre display between Miles to empty > MPG > etc, etc.

I just need to know what pins the wires from these switches go to in the connector.

    Thanks

    Rod

Just looked in haynes manual and it only states the wiring of the stalk goes to the canbus system doesnt state the logical switches and pin outs unfortunatly. If your car doesnt have the stalk then surely the stalk plug will be the same but with 6 pins missing? two for up/down and reset? Then its hit and hope...

I was hoping to find someone who had replaced the stalk and knew the actual pin connections. Yes I could guess the 'spare' pins but not knowing what's actually on the them in terms of ground or voltage I feel it would be a bis risky.

    Thanks

No I'm not replacing the stalk, I've activated the 'Miles to empty' with Vag-Com but can't cycle through the options because I don't have the switches on my stalk.

I thought if I could find out the switch connections I could mount two new switches somewhere on the dash to mimic the stalk switches.
