    hi peeps
    i have a problem with my b6 sport estate 170 tdi
    when i tow my caravan the back of the car sits really really low is there anything that can be done to get normal ride height wilst towing and not looking like a hot rod when not
    youre thoughts greatly recieved

    Have you thought of suspension assistors, think they come from Towequippe and stop the car bottoming out on suspension.
    Corsa - But want an Audi!!!

    I have had 3 estates for towing, and i have fitted each of them with "MAD" Springs, they fit inside the original coil springs. they work very well my caravan sits level, and when not towing there is no difference to ride height just fitted them to the latest B7 estate and if i remember the cost was about £97.00. if you are reasonable at diy then 15-20 minutes for each side is all it takes to fit them.

    above is the link to the site i bought them from, unfortunatly i cannot remember the catalog number, but mine is an SE so it may be different for the Sport. delivery is fast too about two working days.

    Hi I use spring assitors from my local parts supplier just jack the car up and unload the spring measure the distance between one of the coils and use plenty of soapy liquid when fitting. Not particularly expensive but effective!
    2006 Passat 2.0tdi SE remapped to 180bhp, Black Sports front grill + K+N Power Rear Spoiler to come.

    You could try a Sachs or Boge NIVOMAT self levelling pair of dampers.
