    Hi guys
    I desperately need your help

    been out for the day in the passat (2006 Tdi 140 sport)
    when we got back to the car to come home the exhaust emmission light was on and the glow plug light flashing when i started the engine
    An emmission fault message came on and it told me to go to the garage

    has anyone got any thoughts

    also the aircon started to loose the cool air just before we stoped

    Im in stoke-on-trent

    I also remembered that i put £40 worth of that super diesel (not bio-diesel)
    I dont know if that makes ny difference with it being slightly higher octane

    i have the exact same problem, I intend to ignore the emissions light. I know what the problem is just don't have the money and time to sort it out. Next time you fill up try putting in millers, that should sort out the problem. The lambda sensor of my car needs changing, is going to cost me around £170 just for the part. I bought a scanner so I usually delete all the codes.

    No worries, yeah that's right Millers is exactly like red-ex. Millers is much better for diesel engines. Cost £12.99 from Halfords.
