im looking at a bluetooth car kit for my car.

im not sure whether to get a sony ericsson jobbie that you can mount on our visor, or a full blown parrot bluetooth jobbie that requires wiring up.

is there any you would recommend. ideally i want something you can just mount on your sunvisor, but i do like the look of the parrot ones.

any advise would be welcomed. thanks

I've got a Jabra sunvisor jobby, cost £40 and most importantly stops you looking like a SPACE CADET with one things on ear-ole.

Oh, it works really well as well.

    hi blacksline

I've have experience with the Jabra and the Parrot.

They're both good items, but I do recommend the Parrot (I'm not sure which model I used)

    pros for the jabra:
    no messing
    portable
    cons for the jabra:
    dialing numbers
having to charge it up (although you do get a cigarette lighter)
remembering to put it in a safe position when finished
remembering to switch it off when finished

    Pros for the Parrot:
None of the cons for the jabra - easy access to phonebook, and always connected to the car.
    cons for the parrot:
a little messing to install (although if you can install a headunit/radio, you can install a Parrot).

    ah good point blacksline.

I've only recently got my Audi, so I've never stripped it out.....I also don't like the thought of it either. It may possibly just a case of taking the headunit out....I'll see if I can find some more information.

Hopefully someone else here may be of help.
