    Hi All,

This is probably a question that nobody knows the answer too but I thought I would try.

I had a remap done on my 2009 2.0 multironix and all was good. Then the EWL came on last week, took it to Audi today and they replaced DFP pressure sensor under warrantee as it was playing up.

Now on the way home it may be my imagination but the car seemed like its old self before the remap , I am worried they may have wiped the remap. I called them and asked if they had updated the ECU but the girl on the phone was a bit vague and said 'well they would have updated the DPF programming and done a regen but thats it.' Does updating the DPF mean wiping the remap?

I will have to go back to the remap guys and probably pay some more wonga to find out but I was just wondering if anyone knew if they repogram the ECU while changing the pressure sensor?

    Thanks

Quick update, I forgot to do this earlier.

I took it to the tuners and they sucked doen the ECU map and confirmed it was the remap one so it had not been wiped.

I think they had reset something to do with the sensor which after a few miles had settled back down and now the car is back to running faster than stock .

Really strange but I've just had a similar problem on a B8 Audi A4 TDI 2.0 (143PS). Took car to dealers for major 4 year service last year after remap, they mentioned about DPF being dirty and that I should drive the car harder (am doing now) and had forced a regen. The engine management warning light did come on shortly after and warned that DPF sensor errors, and it appeared the remap had come off. Reset the warnings P2454 and P2453 and have just ordered a replacement DPF pressure sensor. Reckon I'm having same symptoms as had the remap reapplied yesterday and they confirmed the remap had NOT actually been taken off, although I'm pretty certain the car felt different and not mapped after dealer visit last year. Hopefully once I get the replacement part fitted I will, like you, be back to better performance from remap. Thanks, I thought I was going crazy!!
