right indicator, rear fog lights, rear windscreen heater, break lights.

    hello, i have a passat estate 1996 (b4 i think?)

im new to this, all of the above started to stay on when i got back from a weekend in germany, where it rained heavily for 2 days, i've checked all the fuses and are all fine, they are all staying on with the keys not even in the engine!!!

a friend told me about the passenger footwell, it was damp but not soaked at all, ive dried it all last week, i started the car all was good, but as soon as i click the right indicator on it all jams again, but goes off when i turn the engine off???

any help would be appreciated as i want to fight this car!!!

    thank you

The lights are staying on permanently?

The 3A Passat does not have an ECU under the passenger’s carpet for the central convenience system.
