Does anyone know the name or part number for the black plastic spoiler that goes under the front of the car (2000 S3 210)? Its the one that you can't see unless you look right under the front of the car. I believe it helps imporve fuel economy at mtorway speeds...

I also need the slatted plastic grille that holds the front foglight in (has a circular hole for fog light)

Mine got samshed to bits when i came off the road and i need a replacement but can't find one anywhere. I believe the spoiler consists of 3 parts (L, R and centre) i need all three unfortuantley!

    Any help appreciated!!!

    Russ

    Cheers Will

I have spoken to Audi, but they want nearly £200!!! AARRGHHH!

I have also tried breakers and ebay for some months now, but with no avail, it appears that this is a common part to become damaged.

I have however noticed a significant increase in fuel consumption without it! Having not having the belly pan for 3 months now i have certainly used the equivalent of £200 worth of extra fuel!!

Therefore think im going to have to bite the bullet and pay Audi (as much as i hate to lol)

PS I've also noticed my car feels a bit more 'wobbly' without the belly tray, it must do something to the aerodynamics as i no longer feel comfortable doin more than 120mph, previously with it i could take it upto 140 with complete confidence (not that i do these speeds often lol)

I will let u know if i find one elsewhere and cheaper

    cheers matey
