A3 Tdi130 Quattro Sport.

Hi guys. I'm the latest newbie on the forum. I am looking at a lovely 03 plate example.

I am looking through the forum but i just need advice on common faults i should look for to make sure i am not buying a nail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm new to the Forum, and new to Audi's, but having driven quite a few over the last week (I'm looking to buy also) then I would not personally go for Quattro unless it was at least the 2.0TDi or 2.0TFSi. You lose a lot of power through the 4wd system and although it makes for incredible road holding and handling, it can slow you down a lot on the straights!!

My personal favourites so far were a 2.0 T Quattro Sport and a 2.0 TDi 140 Sport. The Quattro was far quicker, but just had no sense of occasion and no sense of acceleration. The TDi has bucket loads of torque and will almost certainly be my choice. Being able to drive like a fool all day and still return 40+mpg is brilliant.
