  1. Unhappy engine management light on after egr block

    Hi i did somethink silly and blocked of my ERG pipe with a can of coke cut out thinking thats how you do it and now i have a engine management light on so i took it off and i still have the light so am guessing it needs to be reset or will it clear on its own did nothink els just blocked the egr pipe off

    You will need to reset it or clear fault code.

    It will keep coming back on unless the ECU is modified, just reinstate the EGR and leave it alone.

    The code will come back.

    You need to drill a 6-10mm hole in the center of your blocking plate to keep the codes away, or get your ECU flashed with a software that deletes the EGR.
