My partner slammed my passenger door the other day (temper, temper). Since then I have had a very annoying rattle / bumping noise from inside the door. The window glass can be moved up and down a good inch or so by hand (cant on the drivers side) Im assuming its this causing the noise but need to take off the panel.

Is thsi a DIY job ? Anyone any link to instructions?

    Cheers in advance..

    Steve

sound like a clip for the window glass/regulator has snapped.

Taking th edoor card off is easy, but laborious. There are a number of how to guides on the web but I have attached the workshop manual instructions for you.

Despite that good diagram I failed to remove.. I dropped on of teh bl**dy screws inside the door when taking it out.. So gave up as it looked like I would make it worse..

I think Audi will charger the earteh to fix thsi so was thinking maybe taking it to a local bodyshop? They must have experience of removing these to fix dents etc. Or any other suggestions greatly received.. Im in the Tyne & Wear area..

    Cheers
