Hi All - actually did it yesterday - bought 3.0 TDI S Line Le Mans Quattro! It is a few years old, but 66K Miles.

Lovely car, had to travel up country to get it, but had a thoroughly enjoyable drive down, averaging 37 MPG down M42, M5 and A30. Would probably have been higher but had to try to see how fast she went a couple of times! Did my ususal work commute today and got just over 30 MPG - road is B road and 13 miles, 25 minutes!

It has from what I can see the Denison fitted, Ipod works flawlessly, with my phone connecting too - though the address book did not go across automatically like in the previous BMW. Sat Nav is from a few years OOD so need to aquire a new disc I think.

The text on the small screen in the dash is pure red, no other colour, but the big screen is all differing (green, orange, blue etc) depending on the mode chosen.

Only fault I can see is radio reception is **** when the rear window heater is on. Switch it off and all is great with the radio. Have not tried the CD Changer yet.

All in all really happy. Has new tyres all round, was serviced and 12 months warranty. So Job Done.

    Matt

I also recently got my 06 allroad 3lt, again i went up north Coventry to Scotland to get it, she has 67k on the clock, just love the right foot uumph it has so desperatly training myself to keep it down and save fuel a bit. A huge change from my Landy td5 disco!!

I wish i could get the voice control to work, fed up with " Pardon" and " directroy is empty" my i phone links intermitantly with the MMI as well?

Was reading threads on here about a 3d sat nav upgrade, not sure what the benifit would be if any.

Good luck and keep us all posted on how your getting on

    Some Pics -

Needs a clean but all is well so far. 3D Nav would be better - but for now I still am learning the buttons. Main thing now is to try to set the Nav up for my home address, and delete what is stored in there now from the previous owner.

    Looks really good!

I thought the Le Mans came with the SLine front bumper or did this change at some point?

Press nav, setup and you can select the 3d nav from Map type.

Looking great! How is the ride, is it stiff with the S line suspension?

    Hi Chris
Have no idea about the bumpers - though there are threads about depicting differences. Maybe someone here knows about it and the relevant year changes.
Will have a go in a moment with the nav!

    Hi Gianton

The ride is stiff - slightly stiffer than the BMW M Sport, and I think my Mrs Golf GTI - and i did think I had made a mistake driving down the M42/M5, but they are particularly bad and bumpy roads. The smooth A30 into Cornwall was ok. The car got people looking in the traffic jams - noone looked at the BMW, even the new 11 Reg 520D. The suspension suits the car, we were all (2 grown ups and three kids) out and about yesterday, and noone complained it was too stiff!

No problemo. What year is the car?

The 3D option doesn't actually make it 3d but gives a 3d overview.

I'm in a q5 loan car atm and the actual 3d nav is like this showing buildings.

2005 - so an early face lift model. The nav disc is OOD as some road changes round here are not on it.
