Has anyone any experience in trying to fit the Solenoid actuated boot lid (1999) to the pre-facelift avant (1998)?

Has nobody any experience of this?

Is it as simple as fitting a Facelift tailgate wiring loom and reprogramming the central locking pump to actuate the solenoid?
