No if your ECU is set for Long Life it calculates when the service is due depending on useage type of driving, all sorts of things and can vary between 10 and 20 thousand miles. I hate it and always go for fixed mileage servicing but I still use the best oil that is used for long life. Regards Peter

Mine is on long life service intervals & as the service got closer to the due date, every time I turned the ignition on, it came up saying in the centre display between speedo & rev counter how many miles/days until service is due (and beeped loudly). I think it said 2000 miles or 500 days the first time it appeared. Hope this helps

the mmi will tell you when the next service is due. Usually, under the car menu.

Make sure the details tally up with the service record. It's very easy to fiddle this data with the diagnostic tool. Of course, if buying from Audi, there is nothing to worry about!
