Me & the missus are getting bored of the stable selection of dinners we whip up like spag bol, lasagne, curry, baked salmon, quiche, sausages. Been trying to think of something new to try thats simple enough to whip up, any suggestions?

Fry some onions and garlic in butter, add some chopped up chicken and once it's browned off add a tin of chopped tomatoes, let it bubble away while you cook some spagetti. Obviously you can put whatever you want in, but I can guarantee this tastiness. Swap the tin of tomatoes for a tub of cream and it'll be even lovelier.

If you've not got time, you can put chicken, onion, garlic, carrots, sprouts, potatoes, tin or two of tomatoes all in to a casserole dish and stick it in the oven while you go off and do something more interesting.

I love liver. Loads of people don't though - pan fry or casserole - lovely! The onion gravy is a must have.

Chilli as a variation on spag bol.

    Domesticated, eh!
