Expansion Tank

I used K-Seal in my coupe a while back and the expansion tank is now brown. Decided to change the coolant and whilst i was at that i thought i'd clean the expansion tank out. But after taking it off its got seperate compartments in it so very hard to access to clean, does anyone know if it comes apart at all, or anyone ever done this, any tips?

OK never mind, blasted it with the hose and put some crushed ice in and shook it about then blasted it again and this did the trick.

I've always bought a new tank rather than try and clean a soiled one.

Good tip with the ice though, maybe I'll do that instead

Yeah i normally buy new bits too but i seem to be throwing money at it at the moment. Couldn't find one on the bay so just cleaned it, still yellow but atleast you'll be able to see the levels.
