Rear reading reading lights not working

Have just noticed that the rear ceiling reading lights on my A4 don't work. Also the green light on the dash that shows the side lights are on doesn't work either. Could the two be related and would you know how to fix them?

The rear light is probably just a blown bulb. Easy to change as the fitting just clips in.

Not sure about your first issue, have you checked the fuse? I've also noticed that the green dash board light doesn't display on my car when the lights are on, but I think it must be something different in the B7, because my B6 used to light up. Think I remember there being configuration code you can set somewhere to get it to light, hopefully someone else with more knowledge will be along to fill in the blanks.

On the B7 the sidelights on indicator turning green is on the light switch
