Do Not use VW Doncaster! No new injectors. No customer service. Gutted. I've actually had it with VW and I'm moving to a Ford Mondeo Titanium X Sport! Such a shame.

Next for me will definitely be the new shape bmw 5 series but that in about 3 years when i can really afford it (44mpg in town ,184 bhp, and around 280 lbs/ft) and all that from a 2l engine.TomBoy your car looks nice, low mileage i think the dealers would change the injectors if they would have failed. The ford looks nice but it's still a ford, anyway good luck with your choice whatever it will be.

If you have definitely not put petrol in the car get it out of there and find another dealer.

Hey mate, deffinetley 100% have never put petrol in, and as said 3 days prior I put 70litres of Shell V-Power Diesel In and not topped up since. This is the 2nd dealer matey as Lincoln VW denied all knowlege of the injector issue.

Have you been approaching this properly?

ie. Ringing VW cust service and saying "VOSA told me to ring you"
    Getting a case no.
Then go to dealer with case no. and inform cust service when your car will be in.
    They change injectors

This is not good service, please do not move to F0R*, the problems you are experiencing are due to a combination of Siemens products (do we really want these idiots building our trains?) and very poor customer service from VAG UK dealers. I think VAG UK themselves have got the jist of what is going wrong so you need to go straight to them and create hell.

I know what you're saying Steve, however there comes a point where I think what is the point, I'm getting nowhere. I spent alot of my money buying a VW thinking I would be looked after and problem free for years. Now I'm just sick. I am in the process of writing to both Doncaster branch and VW UK Customer Services just to have a final say on the matter, after that the towel will be thrown in and a trip to Ford or what I originally wanted (wife chose the passat) a volvo S40.

Also just read the paperwork from today, I have an oil leak from the manifold which they replaced last year, nice of them to tell me? So that I'm guessing is under warranty however I just can't be bothered. Oh and also, I had the brake fluid changed as they said it needed changing (when I dropped it off, so before they chinned me off) anyway they havn't put this in the service book, I thought this would have gone in there??

The product is called Tunap 131 & 132.

You need a spray gun to apply the 131 to the DPF using a supplied lance. Once cleaned & the liquid has evaporated, you then use the 132 flusher afterwards.

There is a user guide here: http://www.tunap.co.uk/index.html

As to how it works, it just dissolves the carbon!

Have just read the info sheet & boy am I glad I don't have to put my engine through these forced re-gen & burn off procedures!

Mind you, RPM-wise, it's just the same as a motorway journey!

Still £300 is better than £3,000!
