s4 Performance Mods £1k to spend

Hello folks

I have just got rid of a 280bhp saab 9000 aero and I am currently purchasing an S4 Avant.

As this has less BHP I was wandering what sort of gain I could get for around a £1000. What would I need to buy?

I am new to the Audi scene and dont know the companies to use etc.

A remap for about half that money should see you well on your way.

What sort of power would performance exhaust system achieve when combined with the remap?

What are the opinions of a home made open air filter kit?

Could I use the forge recirculating dump valve from my Saab 9000 aero?

Chip UK are offering good deals at the moment on here for a remap https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/f...play.php?f=106 I would have a custom exhaust made and forget a open air filter as all you will do is suck hot air and loose power. A remap should see over 290-305bhp with an Exhaust.
